Hola! Welcome to NoHostBar…where Bridget Jones meets Sex and the City – but in small town USA and without the fabulous clothes…but lots of sports and cocktails! This is my take on life, love, family, friends, sex, dating, marriage, divorce, work, (and did I mention sex?) and whatever else strikes me in the day to day hilarity that we call life. Not your average chick site, so if you’re into that touchy feely BS…thanks for stopping by.

So where did NoHostBar come from? For me, it kind of mimics life. Think about it, you go to a party with an open bar and designated driver and the next thing you know you’re either making an ass out of yourself or heaving your guts out. (Who me? Never! Yeah right). On the other hand, if you see No Host Bar on the invite, you think, well it’s OK, would have been nice if it was free, but it will still be fun. I have a tendency to maintain a little better when it hit’s the old pocketbook and then not be hungover for two days. Compare that to life – I think people that get everything handed to them and don’t have to work for anything don’t appreciate stuff as much as those of us that have had to work for things. I still get totally excited about a good deal! Don’t get me wrong, if it’s free, it’s me, but I think you get my drift.

My philosophy is pretty simple…life is what you make of it, what comes around goes around (Karma baby), and if life hands you lemons, add vodka and have a party!
