From the headlines

I’m reading the paper the other day and there’s a blurb in there about this lady that had tried all the diets out there but couldn’t stop gaining weight.  Her doctors were considering weight loss surgery when they discovered that she had a 140 pound tumor growing.  One hundred forty pounds…that’s the size of an average adult woman or two 10 year olds!  Is it just me, or how could you not notice?

Then we had some genius rob two banks here in town in the span of an hour.  They caught him after he went to the Mexican restaurant across the street, ordered a cocktail, but skipped without paying.  Ah, how refreshing, I think I’ll sip a little Jose after those two felonies.  Oops, there’s the cops, gotta run! The officer comments that it probably wasn’t too smart for the same man to rob two banks so close together. But he also noted that it’s not very smart to rob banks in the first place. You think??? 

Follow up note: the Yaki-Vegas police have decided not to pursue the alcohol theft charge at this time.
